Enrolment at Twyford

How to Enrol your child at Twyford School

Please contact the school office to organise enrolment.  We are a zoned school and those students within our school zone are guaranteed enrolment.

Out of zone enrolments are accepted depending on available places.  A waiting list may be in place for some areas of the school.  You can easily apply for out of zone enrolment.  Please contact the school office to find out more.  Our school zoning map can be found here

Students starting school for the first time (5 year olds):

Office staff will help you complete the enrolment forms and guide you through the process.  Please allow about half an hour for the enrolment process. You will need to bring:

  • Birth certificate or proof of date of birth.
  • An immunisation record from birth to 5, available from the practise nurse at your doctor's medical centre. This record is a health department requirement.

Students enrolling from another school:

Please bring details of the last school attended, workbooks. Your child's last school report would be a help. We will contact your child's previous school to arrange for records to be forwarded to Twyford.

School Visits

At Twyford School, we have a pre-entry programme for children about to start school. On Wednesday mornings for three to four weeks, before they are to begin school, the children are welcome to come to school from 8:45 am until 11.00 a.m. This time involves some of the core subjects and playtime (an area of concern for many young children). It also involves a lot of activities and social skill development and we hope it will prove helpful for smooth and happy school entry.  Once enrolment is confirmed please contact the school to arrange these visits.
